Who can get a humanitarian visa for Australia?

Who should use this application? If you are outside #Australia and wish to apply to enter Australia for #humanitarian reasons, you must use this form. This class visa includes the following 5 sub-classes: #Refugee (sub-class 200) • #Special humanitarian aid inside the country (sub-class 201) #Women at risk (subclass 204). You must also use this form if you are applying under Community Support Program.

#Refugee (below floor 200) • You live outside your country. and • You are persecuted in your country. and • You need resettlement. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees advises the Australian government on the need for resettlement Special in-country humanitarian assistance (subclass 201) • You are in your own country. and • you are subject to persecution. Only a few places are available in this subclass. International special humanitarian (subclass 202) • you live outside your country. and • you are subject to significant discrimination or gross violation of your human rights in your country;
and • you have included a valid Form 681 Refugee and Special Humanitarian Offer with your application. Form 681 must be completed by an Australian citizen, permanent resident, eligible New Zealand citizen, or community organization in Australia (a "Proposer") who wishes to Support is your request.
